4IPNET EAP110 – Enterprise Access Point



Embedded with 802.11n/b/g 2.4GHz MIMO radio in IP50 dust-proof metal housing, the high speed (up to 300Mbps) and durable 4ipnet EAP110 Enterprise Access Point is designed for wireless connectivity in enterprise or industrial environments of all dimensions. EAP110 makes the wireless communication fast, secure and easy.

It supports Tunnel-based AP Management, business grade security such as 802.1X, and Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA and WPA2). EAP110 also supports WDS links to bridge wireless links of multiple EAP110s for forming wider wireless network coverage. EAP110 features multiple ESSIDs with VLAN tags; one EAP110 can emulate up to eight Virtual APs, great for enterprise applications, such as separating the traffics of different departments using different ESSIDs.

Wireless clients are shielded from each other by Layer 2 isolation, preventing possible attacks from malicious users. Furthermore, implemented with Wireless Layer 2 firewall, EAP110 inspects all inter-Virtual AP traffics as well as wireless to wired traffics and decides whether to block or allow passage according to specified security criteria. Administrators can define their own firewall rules to create a secure wireless networking environment. Other advanced features of Wireless Layer 2 firewall include DHCP snooping and ARP inspection.

Supporting up to 300Mbps wireless speed with its 802.11n 2 x 2 MIMO solutions, EAP110 is perfect for bandwidth-hungry applications such as video surveillance, multimedia streaming over the wireless links.

Tunneled AP Management
